# I like the detail on the jeans and the strap
but the left hand needs some work.

Other than that very nice.

# his left?
or our left?

and what do you think needs changing
(, Mon 9 Jun 2008, 21:50, archived)
# His left. I looks a little like he is holding a bunch
of twiglets. But as pointed out up there ^^^ opinions differ on the hand quality.

It could be the lack of shading that makes it looks odd. I will reserve judgement for now. :)

# i'd recommend jeans with a deeper rise

# i like the new face
but i still think you should just run with it, flaws and all, it takes years to get proportions right every time, d'vinci wasn't built in a day

#
The left shoe looks too flat, it needs to be narrower and the toe part needs to curve more. The left side of the trousers waist band needs to curve more as it's just straight and looks wrong at the moment, also you should try making the belt stick out away from the trousers a bit as it goes round his back. The legs need a bit of work as it's quite hard to tell what position they are actually in.

Other than that it's pretty damn fine.

# Do you think its a case of more definition?
Or does the pose look wrong?
(, Mon 9 Jun 2008, 21:53, archived)
# Well I think it's more that from the trousers the person is being viewed slightly from the side,
but the body is more or less straight on, which looks a little confusing.

I think it's more the left leg than anything, it's quite difficult to tell what actual position it's supposed to be in, you probably need to mess with the shape of the trouser and the folds to get that right.

# It appears as though
he is wondering where the ammunition is . . .
(, Mon 9 Jun 2008, 21:54, archived)
# he needs a bigger pair of trousers
(, Mon 9 Jun 2008, 21:54, archived)
# His left trouser leg has a hem/turn-up but the right doesn't
and might need slight shading on his bald head above ear
also curve at his right thumb base
Gun stock needs slight shading on pistol grip
The paunch looks perfect.

# i think the whole thing will change once the shading/colouring starts
adding a background and stuff is also going to make a hell of a difference
