I found a bat once in towncalled RSPCA, they sent bat sanctuary man. then DEFRA called me every day for two weeks:
Day 1: 'did it bite you?'
Day 2: 'are you sure it didn't bite you?'
Day 3: 'can you check to see if it bit you please?'
etc...
