It went a bit like thisI get a call out of the blue saying
'hi, I heard you were clever and from Oxford - I have £300 quid for you if you can translate Beowulf into text messages'
Me: 'you do know its the length of a large novel?'
PR:' oh... erm one minute'
*pause*
PR: 'can you just cut all the boring bits out?'
Me: 'Most of it is quite boring'
PR: 'We don't need very much - can you get it to us by the end of the week'
took about 2 hours
