Indeed!This was 5 or 6 frames of jpegs at 23k and I somehow managed a whopping 750k animation!

Yup.I found saving source pics as gifs helps. Even if the gif size is larger than the jpeg size per frame, the finished animation seems to come out significantly smaller. Dunno why - probably SCIENCE.
