plus I can't afford ammunition, that shits expensive, plus I'd probably have to pay for range time as apparently you can't just sit in a field and offload several thousand rounds

some folk are just so twitchy!

tho if I get pissed off and find a few £k lying about I might have a go of a few things, it's all doable legally, just expensive when it's for fun
