# oh my goodness yes
seen him live twice, can't wait to see him again at reading
and the really awesome part is that he is a friend of my cousin's
(, Sun 6 Jul 2008, 23:56, archived)
# i've seen him twice as frank, three times as million dead
and i got drunk with him and reuben about 5 - 6 years back :)

though he doesn't seem to remember when i've met him since :(
(, Sun 6 Jul 2008, 23:59, archived)
# i didn't realise he had such a following here on b3ta!
i and friends ended up chatting to him about football last time, but i doubt he remembers
he must meet so many people every day you can't blame him though

# have you discovered chris t-t yet?
brilliant protest songs, he's on the same label as frank
best song "when the huntsman comes a-marching" (which frank sometimes covers), best album "9 red songs"

# No I havent,

# sorry, i would
but i actually ended up downloading it from dreaded iTunes in the absence of anywhere else to buy it from, and it is in m4p
you can find it on youtube but awful cameraphone quality :(
however, i ditto your remarks on the postal service
(, Mon 7 Jul 2008, 0:17, archived)
# i'm going to try and avoid preachiness here but you should buy independent stuff independently
its the only way these places can afford to survive, frank barely sees any cash from an itunes sales anyway
i recommend these guys
www.banquetrecords.com/
also christ t is quite good but he's a bit too directly political for me
(, Mon 7 Jul 2008, 0:20, archived)
# i know and i am sorry for it :(
i don't iTunes in general, i just wanted to download it for convenience's sake and couldn't find anywhere else
(, Mon 7 Jul 2008, 0:22, archived)
# fair enough, i'm a big big advocate of buying cds that are worth paying for
banquet are ace as well. they write a little handwritten note in each cd on a post it for you too. telling you their favourite track on the alubm and stuff
