Not that I feel I need to justify myself, but,I'm from Durham and I live in Scotland...
despite all of this; Oasis will ALWAYS be an utter shit and overrated musical endeavour, The Stone Roses will never hold a place in my heart and everything the verve did after they split up the first time will be like them going back in time and pissing on themselves when they used to be good.... irrespective of the latitude of my birth and residence.
