good point about 'razed to the ground'

kind of implies there are other end-points for the razing.

I smell smoke...yep, it's the charred remains of our embassy.

I always thought that it implied that the building being burned was underground.

But then it would be a lot more diffcult to burn and a whle lot less satisfying...
