# funny sprouts is one of the vegies I like
although boiled endlessly is unpleasant.

Do British schools still give kids lunch? Because that's unheard of here.

# Yup.
But there was a huge campaign by Jamie Oliver a couple of years back as they budgeted about 18p per person and it was all processed crap, even the veggies. He managed to secure an extra 400 million a year so they're given proper food.
I thought that school meals were bad when I was a kid. I was appaulled at the standards shown on his programme.

# I remember those cheap shitty bulk pale peas that seemed to get food colouring added
the food was mostly shit

still, if you went to an expensive school the food would be good

so all is fair and balanced in the world :D

or something

# The main offender was 'chicken twisties'
A chicken helix made from reclaimed meat (tiny bits of chicken meat, water blasted off the bones and ground down with skin and corn to make a meat substitute).
The amazing thing was at the model school he tried the reform at after forcing (and they had to force the kids to eat healthy food) the amount of kids that needed to go to the nurse of ashma inhalers after playing in the playground dropped by 80%.
What really did disgust me at one school chav women started making extra cash over their benefits by selling greesy chips to the kids though the playground railings!

# A chav...doing work? faked for the cameras.
and Christ, that chicken reminds me of the time described how margarine was made...(i think he did this at one point in his career)

He recalled this due to the smell of a recently deceased rat on a summers day.

# lol
I think rat may have some nutrition in it. It's pretty much the way that Macdonalds make it's nuggests and burgers.
I love the way their adds say it's made from 100% beef. Beef is defines legally as anything non organ/offal or skeletal from a cow. SO yes it is 100% beef, just beef power flasted from the bone.
