Excellent!
TJ does anyone know why there isn't a popular page for QOTW? It always fills up so damn quick there's rarely any point in sifting through it all looking for the rare gems, and I'm sure the newsletter misses out on some good stuff by only featuring 3 of them. Have put this on the bugs and features, but maybe there's something I'm missing...?

The reason being
people would abuse the voting system for the best of the week and get shit posts voted popular.

I did think that
but shirley that applies anywhere. There would be enough random lurkers voting on stuff to balance out against cliquey stuff like that wouldn't there?

After the question has closed, the first page will be the most popular ones.
But I don't think they can be sorted before that

Isn't the first link the popular one?
I mean, the url without the /page* part is the popular page, right?

It says "best" on each qotw
but I get what you're talking about. I think QOTW would work a lot better if talk worked properly. Fuck this off-topic bullshit.
