the rocks and is officially shipwrecked it is legal to nick stuff.
The Police can shut the beach, in which case you'd be trespassing (or ignoring the Police or something). That's about it.

could they be ordered to close the beach? by teh police?
or would that take some kind of courty room type person?
edit: actually, there's probably stuff in civil contingences and rip for them to do wtf they want no doubt

I think it turns out they can claim it all as long as they fill out a form declaring they've nicked it.
