or just lay the keys out on the carpet in the layout that they came offand i'd avoid washing the keys in lots of water, as they may suffer the horrors of 'lego-never-dry' syndrome

that's why I tend to wash them at the end of the day when I need to.you can then leave them to dry overnight on a teatowel, with a teatowel covering them
