MetalI had 2 JVC "Metal" tapes, cost £4.99 each when "ordinary" tapes were 99p.

I used to buy cassettes from the local corner shop for 9pThey were made in Malaysia and I think the tape was made from old binbags with iron filings glued on. They did not stand the test of time.
