Well here we come to the meaning of 'meant' ;)'It's taken us thousands of years to stomach it'. Exactly, some of us evolved the ability to drink it, so in as much as you can say evolution has a meaning, we are meant to drink cows' milk, otherwise we wouldn't have evolved the ability to (probably).
