Oh, well then let me explain.
This GIF is the culmination of three years of extensive study on Socrates, as seen from the view point of Xenophon, Aristophanes, and Plato.
This GIF deals with irony, and in particular, socratic irony. Kierkegaard regards Aristophanes' portrayal of Socrates, in Aristophanes' The Clouds to be the most accurate representation of the man. Whereas Xenophon and Plato portrayed Socrates seriously, Kierkegaard felt that Aristophanes best understood the intricacies of socratic irony.
Kierkegaard then compares Socrates with major 18th and 19th century philosophers of the time, such as Fichte, Schelling, and especially Hegel.
Furthermore, there's a huge fucking hurricane about to hit New Orleans.
