Oooh, aaaaah....Well, I'm not sure of the legalities of that exact situation, but if someone asks for free advice and you give it and then they go make money out of it, you might well be miffed, but I'm not at all sure you got a leg to stand on there.
Besides, if this is a mate, you might be better off keeping it that way and getting invited to his next party, as it'll be full of business execs looking for the next big idea! ;)
