If you come to B3ta with epilepsy then you are a moron that's like saying if you try and interact with society with a disability you are are at risk
b3ta has never been about making logging on to the web a 'shocking or hazardous' experience, that's just the teenage prats in their multitude who sign up, troll, and either are told to fuck off or go off for a wank or what ever they do when loose interest

Christ, if you know something is going to set it off, why would you do it?
I'm allergic to some food colourings, so I don't eat foods that contain them. Going "waaah waaah, I can't eat that food so nobody else should" is just pathetic.

people should have access to information and the internet (and a bit of mirth) without the potential risk of harm because someone posted something that may cause serious headaches or worse, entirely as Pasanonic outlined far above, it's not rocket science
It's simply pointless at the end of the day, i'm sure any of us could drag up some hideous stuff off the darkest corners of the net that would make the rest of us have a bad night's sleep or vomit
but why?

I think people just want to have something to complain about.
Also: if I'm one person and lots of other people are having fun but I'm unable to join in, I'll just let them have their fun rather than trying to stop it. It isn't at my expense if the fun keeps going after I turn the other cheek. It seems like the right thing to do is leave them be.
You know, being a grown up and all that.

so yes if you come on here with epilepsy then regardless of how thoughtful people ought to be you're being stupid.
no matter how much you shout at people there are going to be flashing images on b3ta, therefore the only way someone with epilepsy can be sure to avoid them is to not come here.
More broadly speaking, I would strongly suggest anyone with epilepsy TURN OFF FUCKING GIF ANIMATION.
googlesystem.blogspot.com/2006/02/disable-animated-gifs.html
Or do you think you're going to manage to persuade the whole internet to remove all strobing images?
