but what it loses with Newt, it makes up with Apone and Vasquez. everybody has their own reasons for liking each film, i wouldn't try to change anyone's mind. i just think Aliens is the better film.

Black hawk Down? All the nineties' Vietnam films like Full metal Jacket etc

Aliens is a movie classic, just like Alien; it's simply the Alien concept done from a another angle

i think Alien was a bit heavy on the atmosphere but lacking in action. Alien 3 had atmosphere, but it wasn't so heavy-handed. some of the characters were more in-depth, too.

I didn't really understand the overall point why it was made. It seemed like a film devoted to claustrophobia and despair from start to finnish without any real impact anywhere

Aliens had all the weaponry and troops, Alien 3 was showing how the same job could be done with a handful of unskilled and undisciplined men with no real weapons at all.
