well, generally, laptops smelling like they are on fucking fire is not normally a sign that things are 'normal'. I'd definitely advise switching it off for a while. Does it feel hot?

Laptops always feel hot, but no hotter then normal,
the smell is going away tho, I think all the fire must have migrated south for the winter

turning it off
would be a good idea.
Then, as ^^^ above, give it a good blow through the vent holes (and make sure you keep your eyes closed when you do)
