Probably a memory problem
usually is.
Have you got enough disk space free for its swapfile?
Have you got more than one hard drive? If so tell Premiere to put it's swapfile on a different drive to the program. (Or a different drive to the saved file, can't remember which, but it'll advise you)
And check how much memory other open programs are taking up; if you use Firefox restart it as it's a memory hog if it's been open for a while.

Sorry, can't remember off the top of my head
as I don't have Premiere at home. But while it's running, go to Explorer and look at the properties of your hard disk(s), and see if it's running out of space. If so, that's probably the problem.
