were mistakes made? clearly, they shot an innocent man.

are the officers in question to blame? well, fuck yes, they pulled the trigger on an innocent man that looked nothing like their supposed suspect.

the officers who pulled the trigger were acting on massively incorrect information. They didn't know what the actual suspect looked like. They'd been told to target Menezes, and to follow suspected terrorist protocol.
