a massiveMASSIVE proportion of asylum seekers aren't permitted to get a job because they're status hasn't been agreed by the lazy civil servants who are looking at their cases... so they do loads of good things for the often very shitty communities into which they've been placed.
Certainly, some piss poor parts of Edinburgh and Glasgow are nicer safer places because of the their influence and work.
