i have a collie x rottie [a rollie!] and he is the softest, most bombproof dog we've ever known; we've even actually TRIED to piss him off but it just doesn't happen.
An ex-policedog trainer who went on to work with army-trained dogs was similarly impressed with his temperament - and wanted to buy him off us on the spot, an offer we probably should have taken as i'm sure he's wasted being just a family pet.
