Cos if he did, what would be the point in spending say 25mil on him when you already have a half decent LB and RB in the reserves, first team experience will sort them out really.

is out by nearly double ( his stock has dropped a lot ) But even so, as I said he'd be cover and if he did come January ( the only thing there is Ferguson hates to buy in January unless forced ) he's be match fit ( well, whatever goes for match fit at spurs. Insiders at Utd were shocked at how poor Berbatov's fitness was compared to what they require ) if needed.

# Well 25 was a top end estimate, and with the current credit climate, valuations will probably be less, maybe nearer the 17 mark
Thats considering how much they bought him for, and have spent over the summer (although they re-couped alot from berbs and keanes sales)
And evra isnt exactly a bad LB, he's probably one of the most consistant in the league
and likes to get forwards ALOT!

I don't see another player playing instead of Evra. he's just turned out to be a bit fragile and can't guarantee 50 games a season.
