I'll put a £40 reserve on it or give it to someone who can use it. I think it will sell. It was badly named in ebay. I look for things that are misnamed or misspelled on ebay ( like Dwalt tools or nvda graphics cards), they never get the views and can be bought cheap for resale.

It's pretty much the only thing in its library I want to try.

Do they have a left exhaust backbox for a 5.0l V10 BMW 5?

before 10am. Otherwise I'm getting raped by BMW service for a new one.
Actually I'm going to refuse to pay after it's done but it's a long story.

would have thought you'd have known someone in the trade who can get parts at sane price instead of the vastly inflated mechanics traditional price

The car is barely 12 months old. I took it in to complain that the backbox was blowing last month. They had some spotty kid fob me off and tell me that they will weld it. I of course, being me, knew much better and told him that welding it would only fix the crack but stress the metal around the weld and it would crack again. They assured me that it would work and I thought fuck it, I have a 5 year warranty, let them fuck about. So it cracked and I went back. Warranty on exhaust is only 12 months it seems. And trust me this is an expensive piece of kit. I'm just going to let them replace it and refuse to pay my account when it comes around. They deliberately fobbed me off until my 12 months was up so as not to stand the cost. Let a court decide it.
Edit:/ I have my own mechanic for the Skyline but I dare not have any work done on the BMW except by them because any work or service not done in house will knock 10 grand off the price and I change it every 2 years.

yes, it's a fuck on and they will go out of their way to do no work and charge for it

kick up a stink. I can really kick up a stink. Plus I have been spending good money with the same dealer ( he'll be named and fucking shamed soon if they try and fuck me ) since I bought my first Beemer in 1985. I expect a little better.
