If CA went to McCain, along with Texas and Florida (which is about 51 to 49 for Obama at the moment)
Then McCain would be on 206 as far as my mental arithmatic tells me.

He has Texas now, which is the second biggest vote counter.

They would get a state if they had an overall majority.
But there will probably be a couple of "other" Governors or Senators. The US system is very different from the UK's.
Imagine the councils and Government being directly linked and such, if you know what I mean.
