# I've only had two frontpagers..
and the second took me ten hours straight(no eating sleeping drinking pissing) mainly because i was trying to get it really right and was singlemindedly concentrating, but that was part of it. I'm doing the sequel at the moment, not all at once this time, but it's already taken about 3 or 4 hours.

edit: I forgot to put the point in. The point is i think it depends on the idea and the person and the medium. Actually, the point is ignore me I'm drunk. Thanks for the woo though.

# Only 2
of my frontpagers have taken me over an hour. They're usually the ones i don't even think "oh, this is good, i wonder what the magic donkey will think".

# Cripes, ten hours?
If I fiddle with an image for more than a couple of hours the idea just doesn't seem funny anymore [if it ever was] and ends up in the recycle bin.

I also tend to 'hyperfocus' when I'm 'working', but I couldn't do it without dear old caffeine.

# they are animations
and they need to be done frame by frame really, and published in quicktime, as gifs can't really handle the frame rate reliably or the colours.
