Well how do you use past tenseI could not have wrote - Are they having a wanking match? which is present tense. Were they having a wanking match? might be more correct but I'm not classically educated other than being pushed through Secondary Education - self-taught/motivated through college etc. So sorry if my English isn't perfect...
