I do love Painter above all things.It's not Photoshop and does not try to be. It allows you to be a bit more traditional in your style. I find Photoshop cumbersome to paint with and more difficult to get the same results. Painter is so quick when you get into it.
My muppet stuff recently was done in photoshop because I want to get better with painting in that but I do love scribbling in painter.
