If you need a quick warranty replacement......clear nail varnish on the battery contacts (on the battery and the phone). They'll scratch their heads for days and give you a replacement anyway (at least they do on O2, if it can't be fixed within a week you get a new one).

It isn't really so bad,it just means I have to use an old phone for a couple of weeks which doesn't really matter I guess :D
