Well I think it's more the rather obviousand hackneyed post-modernism clashing with the clichéd counter-culture references that rather spoil what could be a rather average attempt at exemplifying the pilorization of Warholian symmetry that upsets me most.

Now this ...This I can go with, you see. It's this sort of ironic challenge that throws down a gauntlet to established ideas and in destabilizing the general concensus forms something actually real; something new; something that says "We are no longer defined by rules, but by the art which we so slavishly follow". This is it - an idea caught - a visual poem - if you like; a song of pictures - a picture book of words.

My dad is waaay betterAnd it helps he's bald, has got a beard, and wears glasses. We went to the Tate to see Damian hirst's stuff, and thought it was wank. My dad started talking about how a fire extinguisher in the corner was "Clearly a statement of masculinity, thrusting into the air in a vile parody of rape, pushing Mother Earth further from it's peak ..." blah blah, and by the time he'd run out of steam about 8 people had gathered around him hahahahaha
