# Morning! Ur, I don't get it either.
But it is nice formashgetsmashery.
TJ - My bro in law came 'round with his vid projector at the weekend and we watched a few films. Am I the only person in the world who found the first Lord Of The Rings film boring and tedious and dull?

# I'm with you on that one
I fell asleep watching it

# Yeah, I know what you mean. But it's good to see an
American SF film that has a mildly intelligent plot. Differed from a book a fair bit (Philip K Dick), but then so do Bladerunner and Total Recall... Tom Cruise has all the acting ability of a blunt pencil, does he not?
(, Mon 10 Mar 2003, 9:04, archived)
# he does indeed
and I think that was one of the things I didn't like about the film.

# I found it dull too
but then, I'd seen Brotherhood of the Wolf the week before (fantastic film, watch it if you can).

I love projectors : ) We had one at a party once and watched classic kids' stuff - Button Moon, Chorlton and the Wheelies, Bod, the Flumps, Will o' the Wisp etc

# We do a projector evening every couple of months.
Fill the room with cushions and matrii (plural of matress) and ashtrays, and spend all night watching films. And the Arsenal Chelsea game too, which was a classic...
