We speak to Karyn Matheus about her latest production 'On Dewsbury Moor',
a gritty reality flick about a faked kidnapping gone wrong. For Karyn, 33, this is
her 14th film, since her debut in Mike Leigh's 'The Lasses in the Park'. Since
then she has received critical praise for her acting and directorial talents,
her start as a director coming at just 25, with 'Slappaz: Life on Your Back'.
Q: Karyn. Great to have you in. How do you feel this film has stretched you in
your portrayal of the characters?
A: Well, coming from a similar background myself, i didn't have to reach too
far to get in character. But it was the events in the plot that I found hardest.
