Why thank you. My mind set was 1) Bush shoe incident 2) Add silly face 3) Hilarity and fame ensues.....
I too use gimp, and tried that optimise for gif which took the file down to 500k. Still much too large so I went and cropped the image to as small as I could get away with ;)
