I assume that one of the hollow logsgoes to the options menu and there may be a save option there.

I just read something that says"support functions - cartridge save" having no idea how these things work does it imply it saves to another cartridge?

No other cartridge room available.I have quite the game and I can return to the game I want easily enough, as long as I do not turn off the power.
