it has the wonderful 'screen camera' button.
Get the film in the place you want it and just click the button,
then paste into the program of your choice

actually tried this one I crashed so i cant tell you what the result would be like

edit : vlc media player has a similar function for capturing screen shots from file versions of movies. (works well with my ancient copy of movie jack)
