# The problem appears to be
Clut's failure to understand that an emotional response to a given situation or abstract concept is relative to the person experiencing said response and that objects, ideas and situations do not possess an inherent level of 'funniness' or, for that matter, 'offensiveness' and that both of those things exist only in ones head, making everything in the universe potentially funny and offensive at the same time. Whether to be offended by something is, ultimately, a choice and Clut has chosen to be offended, while the rest of us have chosen to be amused. It is my considered opinion that this choice reveals Clut to be, what we mental health professionals call, a knob head.
