I've spent over a year on thisand have spoken with a number of MPs and privacy advocates and the upshot is that yes, it's illegal and no, BT don't have to worry about that because they will be allowed to break that law for commercial gain. I hope te EU commission puts them out of business because they have been ignored by this government and they are gonna come down with the ban-hammer.
