Incidentally, there is an expression about the 'collar and cuffs' matching. Or the Americanised version, 'Does the carpet match the drapes?' It's supposed to mean, 'Is this person a fake blonde or real' since this is usually - but not always - obvious once the pants hit the deck.
Oh my god. I've just realised that this means you might never have seen a ginger person naked!

I just wasn't sure if the same kinda thing applied to blondes. I've had blonde friends who've told me theirs are dark brown like everyone else's before, you see.

Well, we're a big old genetic grab-bag and sometimes that's true.
Actually, come to think of it, I reckon it looks a bit odd when you have a really light blonde with dark pubes. But it does happen - it's just that it's a bit unexpected.
I should point out here that I'm not some lothario who spends their time cataloguing pube colours. It's just what I have noticed on my...er...travels.
