I said alt-text as that's what it's called in the firefox image propeties thing that I can get by right clicking.. as the hover over is quite often never long enough.

alt text is the old HTML abusing way of doing it. But since that is not what alt text is supposed to be used for, they added the title attribute so that the alt text could be used correctly again.
