I also aquired the jeremy sutton corel x dvd guide thing.. but I found him painful to watch. lol. I don't think I'll be using painter x till I get the rotatey pen ability as I cannot be fucked with continually having to rotate the canvas.

( Sutton ) but it's worth browsing through the chapters for tips.
The Fay Sirkis DVD is much more informative and has some good tools with it. ( brushes, palettes etc.) As long as you can get over her annoying speech impediment.
rotating the canvas is second nature to me now but I have it mapped to the buttons on my tablet but it's no hardship to do it from the keyboard. In fact you should get used to doing everything barring your pen-strokes, from the keyboard shortcuts and stop using the gui where possible. It speeds things up massively when you know your tool shortcuts.

in my chair with my feet up on the corner of the desk. The tablet then goes on the slide drawer where the keyboard usually is and it sits perfectly under my right arm and I put the keyboard on my lap under my left hand. I have to turn slightly to see the monitors but it works perfectly for me, until my arse goes numb.
