the Pinz is much faster and easier to drive, and I fit in it much better. However, the Mog has "Road hugging weight" and the box was handy for camping.
Now the Mog has been backwards converted into a tractor/utility truck on a friend's farm in Nevada - once the box is lifted off it is quite nimble!
But old Split Window VWs are great - always wanted one, but only had later vans.
