# It all dates back to Yuri Gagarin. When he left the Van Ellen belt he was exposed to the ungodly vampire radiation of an unprotected sun.
When he returned to the soviet union, fearing the changes occuring in his own body and the safety of his family he moved to romania causing anacronistic and conflicting mythology in the region. Part of the change in psysiology came to be that he could no longer stand the light of what was the protovampire sun, and all the descendents of the curse carried the same vunerability.

# Then they all got eaten by Laika, the dog

# Laika actually became the first werewolf due to a bizaare coincidence.
But sadly was eaten by John Peel in the early 80s.

# I want to mock you for being psuedo-intellectual
but to do so I would have to use the term psuedo-intellectual.. which would send me straight into a paradoxical recursive nightmare.

# Pseudo-intellectual?
I just talked about a vampire sun converting Yuri Gagarin....are you on crack or something? Because I certainly fucking am!

Pointless fact, in Metal Gear Solid 3 there is an russian cosmonaut who goes insane in space and turns into a crazed flamethrower wielding floating bloke. The game was set in 1963 or 4, and there hadn't been a huge number of space flights, and the bloke had gone into space a while ago. So in MGS3 Yuri Gagarin was a crazy flying cosmonaut with a flamethrower who exploded when defeated.
