what the fuck does last fm actually do?does it just tell everyone what I listen to in Winamp? What happens if I want to watch a quick bit of jazz material on and can't be arsed loading up a DVD in powerDVD. Does it show my porn channels too?

It doesn't.Personally, I use it for the radio stations. Once you listened to some music, you can use the 'My Recommendations' radio stream which is usually quite accurate. If it plays you a dud, just skip it. Great for finding new artists.
