I'm still keen for the Lovely Bonesalthough I'm currently reading Alice Sebold's Lucky, not sure how well her work will stand adaptation.

yeah I've read them bothbe interesting to see how it turns out.

hehehyeah. I didn't much like the Lord of the Rings movies either, but that was mainly because of the cloying soundtrack (FUCK YOU HOWARD SHORE), as well as the fundamentally tedious source material.
I did think the visual effects were pretty sweet in Kong, but Jack Black was horribly miscast.
Haven't seen Heavenly Creatures since it was in theatres, though I remember it as good.. but I enjoy The Frighteners every time it's on the telly.
