Also possibly the only decent Marvel comic ever made is the Batman Versus Dracula one. Though the font they use in that will give you tinitus in your eyes.

i've never really been able to get into marvel, though i do kinda like hearing about them, they come up with some glouriosly mental ideas now and then

The Dracula one was actually quite well written and short, which is generally the problem with Marvel in general, they are long rambling story arcs with no continuity purpose or meaning.
The Dracula one did at least have Batman's slow descent into madness.
