If you recall this is the 1932 championship edition with the Nerivsky modifcations around London Bridge and Archway to prevent jumping and cross ply-overs. I feel it's the most traditional mode, before Oysterifcation was introduced.

I believe Dave the Hat and I tried that in our 4th round heat at the East of England Armitage Shanks Charity Bowl finals
however, he knipped me in the embankment, and I proudly kicked him in Cock Fosters with a double parallel diagonal which made him Kings Cross.
