Well as statistics go then the highest rising cases of HIV is amongstHetrosexuals (Man-on-Women) even though Gay Males are individually more likely to actually get HIV but that's because there are far more Hetrosexuals than Homosexuals. I can't quote any research or actual statistics but I'm pretty sure I read that this is the case.

Quoting research is seemingly largely pointless in this field because there are so many people who just want to discredit homosexuality in general.For instance someone who I had thought was fairly intelligent insisted that homosexual men were proven to be more promiscious. Frankly anyone with a degree of reason would realise that it's just the fact that men are in general more promiscious and would largely hit every woman they met if they'd let them.

So trueit's just a case of generalisation the same as racism - if someone has a point of view that's opposed to gays and lesbians they will generalise to prove something that supports their prejudice. "Gay men are promiscious." "Lesbians don't shave their armpits or legs!" anybody with a brains knows it's all bullshit but it appeals to the ignorant.
