I felt similar about the first couple of episodes when I watched it, but it really starts coming together into an intriguing story after a few episodes.It definitely isn't perfect, some of the characterisation of females in particular isn't that great, but I do maintain it's the best television drama I've ever seen.

From what I've seen of people recentlyit looks to be one of those flash-in-the-pan things. It's the best thing ever NOW, but then people said that about the Beatles and that wasn't ever true, not even at the time.
