At the peak of his early-90s televisual fame, Pat Sharp would wash his hair up to six times a day, using only a blend of mineral water, cat's milk, egg yoke and Timotei shampoo.

As well as presenting, Pat Sharp also turned his hand at directing. He is credited as having directed a number of episodes of the popular children's programme Rainbow, as well as a small-scale opera based on his love of Dalmations.
